I am a native South Floridian enjoying life in Middle Tennessee since 2013. I have worked in production and engineering environments since my time at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering. I moved back to Miami in 2010 after spending two years at sea and in San Diego. This move provided the opportunity for me to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration at Florida International University. I gained a deeper understanding of business management and financial principles, which have helped in my career as a capital project manager.
I have many interests which means I am open to ideas and opportunities. I love project management, real estate, customer relationship management, and consulting. With more than a decade of working in technical environments, I am looking to gain more experience by putting my education and passion for business to work for a great team!

Energetic, optimistic, risk-taker, competitive, convincing, independent, friendly, trusting, active … these are some of the traits used to describe my DiSC® profile.
I bring my best when multiple projects are underway and there is variety in our days. I am a problem solver and troubleshooter by nature; finding solutions for tough and old problems is one of my biggest motivators. Follow through is one of my strong suits.
“Garrett has the unique ability of tackling tough problems and following them through to a satisfactory conclusion. He is a good problem solver and troubleshooter, always seeking new ways to solve old problems.” – DiSC® profile.
Where can you find me when I am having fun? Below the waves! I started scuba diving at the age of 12. Today, I hold a few specialty certifications and have logged hundreds of dives in the Caribbean, South Florida, the Florida Keys, the Pacific Ocean, and South America.
